We are happy to name a few films that have found success after their participation in the Agora Works in Progress last year, such as When I Saw You by Annemarie Jacir (Palestine/Jordan/Greece) who won last year’s Graal post-production award and was recently selected as a World Premiere for the Toronto International Film Festival 2012 - Contemporary World Cinema section.
“We were so happy with Graal we ended up doing all our post-production in Greece. We arrived to find excellent facilities, top technicians, and the most friendly and supportive people. I hope to collaborate with Graal on all my future projects. Without the award from Thessaloniki I don't know how we could have finished the film. Working with Graal was a dream come true for us.” Annemarie Jacir.
Other titles that were screened in our last selection of the Agora Works in Progress are:
The Boy Eating the Bird’s Food by Ektoras Lygizos (Greece), Karlovy Vary Film Festival International Competition Section – Actor Special Mention, Toronto International Film Festival 2012 - Discovery section
