VORTEX OR THE FACE OF MEDUSA

Film description
A group of adolescents are spending a summer in Crete, haunted by something that happened in London the day before their holiday began. But rather than the telling of a story or the solving of a police mystery, what matters in this film is the network of complex relationships (especially the instances of sexual attraction and the subsequent confrontations) that develop among these characters. In a first version, entitled The Face of Medusa, the film was shown at the Berlin Film Festival 1967. Its final version contained additional shooting done in Rome and was entitled Vortex.
