SKY HOOK

Belgrade. Spring of 1999. Former basketball hero Kaja is struggling not only with the daily NATO bombings and the possibility of being drafted into the front lines, but also with an impending divorce from his wife, Tijana, who wants to take their five-year-old son, Jovan, rendered mute by trauma, and leave for Italy on visas that are expected any day. Kaja's friends aren't doing much better. Civil war veteran Zuba is a cynical, world-weary tattoo artist, who refuses to come out of his apartment or become emotionally involved with anyone, while Turca, a refugee from Sarajevo, tries to block out the destruction he thought he'd escaped by acting the ladies' man, and Siske suffers the constant verbal abuse of his embittered father...
