The history and cultural significance of Greek Wine, through a documentary project that reveals the picturesque vineyards valleys and the winemaking process in Greece. Archaeologists, historians, winegrowers, oenologists, winemakers, sommeliers, wine critics and Masters of Wine, guide us in a journey through time, following the paths of winemaking in Greece from 5000 B.C. until the 21st century. The viewer travels through more than 17,000 km in Greece’s most-famed vineyard valleys and discovers the secrets of viticulture and winemaking process of acclaimed varieties, tasting the philosophy of their renowned producers.
