At the core of Norway’s black metal scene, a fierce, female force suddenly emerges. Three young women agree to a three-year pact to devote themselves to awakening society through extreme music and magic. Using black metal to unleash raw, feminine energy and convey feminist (and other empowering) messages, Witch Club Satan, a coven of witches and musicians, arrive to disrupt a male-dominated world (which has been accused of toxic masculinity, intolerance, and racism), resoundingly asserting the power of their “demonic” emancipation.
