EMBRACEABLE
USA 2011 50 Digibeta Color
Film description
Embraceable is a film that captures the beauty, charisma and pure joy of people with a rare genetic disability called Williams Syndrome. Despite cognitive difficulties, people with Williams are masters of self-expression and acutely aware of their differences. Their passion and talent for music defies description – and scientific explanation. Embraceable features comments from top Williams’ researchers from the Salk Institute, Harvard and other leading institutions, but the heart of the film is wonderful encounters of people with Williams as they perform together, socialize, and charm the public.
