DEEP END

Film description
"In the beginning there was only one image, which I could see very clearly even before I started the film: the chandelier swinging and hitting the girl on the nape of her neck. Death is the last surprise in life, and cinema never showed death in that way: as a surprise, as something one doesn't expect, something that comes along in an ordinary way. So it was precisely from this last scene that I began; it was from there that I 'climbed', holding on to the links of the chain that led to the death of the ending. Even though the viewer may be shocked by this death, if one analyses the film psychologically, one will see that it is the most logical solution, the only effective one and, inevitably, the only possible one".
