DEAD EUROPE

He studied film at the University of Technology, Sydney and the Australian Film TV and Radio School. He wrote and directed the short film Unit#52, which screened in the Directors’ Fortnight section of the 2003 Cannes IFF, and the critically acclaimed Jewboy (2005), which premiered in Un Certain Regard at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival, and went on to screen at many festivals including Sundance, Karlovy Vary, Melbourne, Jerusalem and Pusan. He also wrote and directed the feature-length documentary The Tall Man (2011) for SBS TV (based on the bestselling book by Chloe Hooper), which won many awards worldwide.
