BOXER

The film follows a veteran boxer who is now the head trainer at the Aristoteleio Boxing Club. Yorgos Ioannides won every championship he participated in during his career until he retired. We follow boxers from different venues who have made different choices in their training methods and private lives. The principles of the sport are explored and discussed by veteran champions and trainers affiliated with Ioannides, allowing them to reflect upon the nobility of their sport and the love and respect that they share in this hierarchical line of champions-trainers, spanning a fifty-year legacy in the sport.
