Film description
Two stories, one complementary yet opposing movement. Two young people who are looking for jobs and losing their jobs. Two young people who undertake a journey to find a new beginning in life. Olga who comes from the Eastern part of Europe, where unremitting poverty is the order of the day. Paul comes from the Western part of Europe, where unemployment means not hunger, but a crisis of meaning and sense of uselessness. Olga believes that her happiness lies in the West. She travels from the Ukraine to Austria and ends up as a cleaning lady in an old folks home. In his search for work and meaning, Paul accompanies his stepfather from Austria to the East, ending up in the Ukraine.
