Film description
Milla, a 16-year-old cancer-stricken teenager, is shedding off her girly skin into womanhood, just as her life is flickering away. Unfortunately, her highly-strung mother and her emotionally blocked father, beaten by premature grief, can’t bring themselves to treat their daughter as a normal adolescent. Milla’s random acquaintance with good-for-nothing Moses, a drug-dealing drifter, provides a yet refreshing antidote to her parents’ walking-on-eggshells considerateness. Brushed with love, Milla rediscovers her lust for life, forcing conventional morals out the window. A family portrait of comic beats and dramatic counter beats, which dares to let go and indulge in life’s splendid chaos.
