WILD DUCK

At a personal and financial impasse, Dimitris tries to get his life back on track by undertaking to solve a case involving phone tapping. His investigation leads him to the surveillance of an apartment and, by extension, of the daily lives of all the inhabitants of the building. As the surveillance progresses, Dimitris becomes increasingly interested in the story of Panayota, who lives in the apartment upstairs. His relationship with Panayota and the information he discovers lead him to a violent realization of the infringement of privacy and safety, and the compromised quality of life of modern-day city dwellers. On a journey of self-discovery to his home town, Dimitris tries to recapture his lost freedom and neglected ideals, in order to solve the moral and financial dilemmas that persecute him.
