Discovering new talents and voices that shift our gaze remains at the core of the Festival. This year, at the 64th Thessaloniki International Film Festival (2-12 November 2023), movies from all over the world, screened at TIFF’s competition sections, International Competition, Meet the Neighbors+, >>Film Forward and Immersive, incite us to embark on exciting and deeply humane film journeys.
The Festival is delighted to announce the full lineup of podcasts taking part in the 64th TIFF, in the Podcast Competition section and the newly established Podcast Nexus subsection. All podcasts will be available for hearing both onsite, in the Podcast Room, and online during the Festival.
The Festival's main exhibition, titled "FANT SM S" and linked to the 64th TIFF's large-scale tribute to Fantasmas, will showcase the works of four legendary Greek visual artists who left their indelible mark on Greek and European culture and art.
AGORA Series, the successful new initiative of the Τhessaloniki International Film Festival returns this year with an extended two-day program on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 November 2023.
With a series of initiative and actions, Thessaloniki International Film Festival is honoring the memory of Michel Dimopoulos, who served as the Festival’s Director from 1991 to 2005, breathed new life into the institution and expanded its horizons, turning the vision of its internationalization into reality.
