The legendary director of Shoah travels in North Korea without a filming permit, in order to find the traces of a brief encounter that happened in 1958, after the Korean War. A French official from the first European delegation that visited the country met a Korean nurse of the Red Cross – “napalm” was the only word they both understood. Each shot of the film is a triumph against totalitarianism.
