Akram and her sister kill their brother and bury his body in a swamp beside a salty lake near Tehran. They pretend their brother has gone to Germany illegally and know nothing of his whereabouts. As time goes by, however, the “lie” turns into “reality” in Akram’s mind, so that she believes her brother will come back.
