Αυτό το δημιουργικό ντοκιμαντέρ επικεντρώνεται στην περίοδο 1914-1923, μια εποχή αναταραχών που κορυφώνονται με την άφιξη του Μουσταφά Κεμάλ Ατατούρκ στη Σαμψούντα στις 19 Μαΐου 1919. Τότε αρχίζει η δεύτερη φάση της Γενοκτονίας των Ελλήνων της Οθωμανικής Αυτοκρατορίας, η οποία ξεκίνησε το 1914 από τους Νεότουρκους. Τότε χρονολογείται και η γενοκτονία των Ελλήνων της Μαύρης Θάλασσας (Ποντίων/Ποντίων Ελλήνων), με τα δεκάδες χιλιάδες θύματα. Οι φτωχοί, οι ξεριζωμένοι, οι γεμάτοι κακουχίες επιζώντες, οι απόγονοί τους, ιστορικοί και ακτιβιστές μιλούν στον φακό για τα εγκλήματα της γενοκτονίας. Μέσα από πρωτότυπες λήψεις και υλικό αρχείου, σκίτσα, φωτογραφίες αρχείου και εφημερίδες, αυτό το ντοκιμαντέρ φέρνει την ανακάλυψη της αλήθειας, πέρα από την άρνηση.

From an outsider’s perspective, things are going well for Lukas Graham. Every time lead singer Lukas Forchhammer sets a new goal for himself, he achieves it. He is signed to a major international label, he works with some of the greatest music producers, he is flown around to perform his hit song ‘7 Years’ on the world’s biggest stages. On top of this, Lukas becomes a father for the first time. From an insider’s perspective, it is a lot to juggle all at once. Dreams can easily transform into nightmares from one moment to the next.

„Altered States of Consciousness” is a film about the possibilities of our brain. A poetic journey deep into the world of thoughts of people with autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. Where do the boundaries of our minds lie and how much does culture confine or even extinguish our creativity in everyday life and even in love?

Amber is a 17-year-old teen. Together with best friend Sebastian, the two queer youngsters share a world far away from the judging eyes of society. When they are together, anything feels possible. We get to hang out with Amber and Sebastian during this identity-building period, when they share everything from dreams and parties to new friendships. But when Amber falls in love with Charlie, something starts to challenge their utopian world. Trust issues begin to emerge, and in the midst of it all Amber has to face going through their transition alone.

Four human profiles are sketched, during the Amorgos Film Festival. A builder tells us about his craftmanship, a journalist describes an old handicapped artist of Asfondylitis, a shepherd is one of the few inhabitants of Asfondylitis and a female performer is hiking with a small group of people, reciting Homer’s Odyssey and playing the ancient lyre. All of them are enchanted by the scenery and the old rocks that define the island of Amorgos.

Only another day, then Caroline will be perfect. The woman in her mid-fifties lies on her hospital bed and says goodbye to her old self. For the first time she feels whole. But that moment vanishes before Caroline can enjoy it. Immediately after her gender reassignment surgery, Caroline receives a message that her father is going to die. The fragmentary memories of places at the Rhine where she was abused as a child and teenager increasingly haunt Caroline's presence. She seeks help from a psychologist. In weekly therapy sessions, Caroline embarks on a journey into her past self.

Μακριά από την καρτποσταλική γραφικότητα, η Άννα Βιχ επέλεξε να φωτίσει περιφρονημένες όψεις της χώρας: την καθημερινότητα στην πόλη, τους τόπους και τους ανθρώπους της, τον παλαιό ελαιώνα που έχει μετατραπεί σε υποβαθμισμένη γειτονιά, αδέσποτες γάτες... Αλλά και την πραγματική σχέση της νέας Ελλάδας με την αρχαιότητα, καθώς επίσης και τη μαγεία της θάλασσας. Η δημιουργική ταυτότητα της Άννας Βιχ, ωστόσο, είναι η αφορμή για το ξεδίπλωμα ενός βαθύτερου προβληματισμού. Ενός προβληματισμού για την ταυτότητα μιας Γερμανίδας γεννημένης τη μεταπολεμική εποχή που, γαλουχημένη στην Ευρώπη της αμφισβήτησης, επιλέγει να ζήσει σε μια κλειστή, σχεδόν αγοραφοβική Ελλάδα. Αλλά και για την ταυτότητα της χώρας μας, που δεν κατάφερε να εμβαθύνει στις ιδέες της προόδου, της χειραφέτησης από τον εθνικό μύθο, της δημιουργικής συνομιλίας με τον δυτικό κόσμο στον οποίο επέλεξε να ανήκει... Controlled conversations, recording with hidden cameras, dirty records of interrogations and recruitment attempts as well as video tutorials for the officers of the security service – all of these materials are employed to portray the monitored life in Poland under communism. Sometimes grotesque, this picture is underpinned by horror, escalating intuitively with every minute. The dramatic culmination is when the Big Brother is not just watching but violating the intimacy of an ordinary citizen. Before us, there is a terrifying communist panopticon which keeps spying on and recording itself.

The film is about life and development in the village of Galatista in Halkidiki, from the 13th century until today. Past and present.

Every year the War Cemetery Memorial of Wahala / Chra in Togo (West Africa) hosts the November 11th Remembrance Day Ceremony in memory of the First World War and of the African colonial soldiers who died here in August 1914. But Wahala's history and its name point to another painful past. Cairo, January 25, 2013: An explosion of sexual assaults takes place in Tahrir Square on the second anniversary of the revolution. In response, a massive outpouring of enraged women fill the streets. Director Samaher Alqadi picks up her camera as a form of protection and begins documenting the growing women’s rebellion, not knowing where the story will lead her. When Samaher becomes pregnant during filming, she starts to re-examine the constructs of her own childhood in Palestine and what it means to be a woman and a mother in the Middle East.

The International Criminal Tribunal For The Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) was a unique experiment: For the first time, war criminals from all sides of a conflict were tried by an independent and international court. In more than 20 years, it sentenced 160 persons, incl. Milošević and Mladić. Osher, Michelle, and Eitan were taken out of their homes as children and transferred to foster families. Their biological families are dysfunctional and absent. The foster families are supportive and stable, but this guardianship ends at age 18. The film follows the three over the last year of foster care and the first year of independence. The threat of the loss of familial support affects all aspects of their lives. Past trauma and dislocation erupt from time to time affecting the relationship of the three friends.

The true story of 32-year-old “Suehir”, who managed to escape from her husband, with the help of another woman. We follow her from the morning, when her confinement ends, to midnight, when she celebrates her “resurrection” with people who support her. We travel with her to her dark past, but also to her bright future. Her old wounds are revealed, but so are her new joys. Pain gives place to strength, and fear turns to hope. But what about her daughter?
