TO FIND TIGER KIM

When I was very young, my family used to go to a large tomb. It was the tomb of Tiger Kim. Tiger Kim was a relative of mine, my grandma’s brother-in-law and my grandpa’s higher officer. And it was he who made my grandparents marry. In a sense, he “created” my family. Sixty years ago, he was the most important man in the Korean president’s entourage. Tiger Kim was his nickname because of the courage he had shown at the time. I was very proud of him, so I used to show his mark of honor to my friends. But when I grew up, I heard about his shocking story. So I decided to find out the truth. And I did. When I decided to do so, my grandpa fell ill with cancer.
