THE OUTPOST

North-eastern Afghanistan, in the midst of an endless war, in a hellish barren landscape, where death is lurking around the corner. Fifty-three US soldiers, outrageously outnumbered by their enemies, are engaged in a far from well-planned mission to develop liaisons with the local community and participate in the reconstruction program. As a Taliban force of 400 men tightens the noose around the US troops, panic and despair take over. The abandoned soldiers’ only mission is as simple as it gets: stay alive at all costs.
