HIRAGASY – SONG OF MADAGASCAR

The documentary offers a small taste of the wealth of Malagasy traditional music. The protagonists of the film include the legendary flute master Rakoto Frah and also the younger generation of internationally established musicians and composers, such as Tarika Sammy, Hanitra, Ricky and Rajeri. Through their music we witness their true love for their musical inheritance, the music of so poor and yet so rich a country as Madagascar.
