Film description
A monumental cinematic experience, presenting a unique approach to archival research and visual thinking, experimenting with the borders of analogy and associations, and exploring the external similarity of bodies, objects, movements, and narratives through the early history of film. An archaeological excavation of uncanny, eerie images that argue, in this first installment of the project, that the birthplace of cinema is the scientific laboratory.
