Film description
A Tutsi woman, the daughter of a famous ornithologist who died during the Rwanda genocide in 1994, flees to Poland with the help of a researcher who collaborated with her father. The two women help each other stand on their own feet again, but also remind each other of the recent past tragedies. How can someone find balance in the transition from death and denial to life and affirmation? A picture of psychological consequences of this bloodshed that changes into an engaging, full of drama, but also hopeful tale about meaning of life and the existence marked by trauma.
