The Middle East is one of the most unstable regions in the world, and Lebanon is the epitome of this instability. In Beirut, the pompous and extroverted lifestyle of the elites serves them as a subterfuge to the entrenched situation of instability in the country. While the always-present ghosts of political uncertainty and social conflict hover over their lives, we follow four representative characters of the upper class who seem to avoid eye contact with the complex reality in which they are immersed.
