Incredibly, the film was shot right in the middle of a besieged Sarajevo, in the summer of 1993, by the actor Senad Basic and director Francois Lunel. In July of 1994, the film negative was transported with great difficulty to Zagreb for processing, then returned to Sarajevo for post-production.
