AGUA FRIA DE MAR

She was born in 1979 in San Jose, Costa Rica. She studied Photography and Journalism before going on to the London Film School. Her graduation film, Temporal, was in competition in many international festivals. Her second short film, Cuilos, premiered in 2008 in the international competition of Locarno and screened at 25 other international festivals. Agua Fria de Mar is her first feature. The film was developed at the Binger Filmlab and at the Sundance Screenwriters Lab. It won the Arte Αward at the Buenos Aires Lab and was a finalist for Sundance/NHK 2008.
